Version 1.1 · Effective September 8, 2026

Terms of use

These terms govern use of the public KernelHawk website. A signed proposal or service agreement sets the terms for paid assessment work.

Website information

Website content is general information, not legal advice, a security certification, or a guarantee that a service is right for a particular environment.

Authorized use

Do not use the site or its downloads to access, test, monitor, or change systems without explicit authorization. Do not interfere with the site, evade access controls, or submit secrets, patient information, malware, or proprietary binaries through a public form.

Services and payment

Scope, deliverables, timing, fees, payment terms, data handling, and governing law for paid work are set in the signed agreement. Website descriptions do not expand that agreement.

Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, this public site is provided as is and as available. KernelHawk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the public site. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

Downloads and intellectual property

Software downloads at /remediation carry their own license and no-warranty notice. Other site content is provided for information; third-party material retains its original ownership.

Third-party sites

Links to threatwing.com and other sites are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and privacy notices.

Agreements and legal rights

These website terms do not select a governing-law jurisdiction or court. Any paid service requires a separate agreement identifying the operator and the applicable service terms, including any choice of law and courts. Mandatory legal rights are unaffected.

Changes

We may update these terms. A material change receives a new version and effective date above; a redeployment alone does not change that date.

Operator and contact

KernelHawk is operated by an individual proprietor in the United States.
